Overview
As a leading provider of hardware, software, and services for the Internet, this company's IT department is responsible for all development, maintenance, and support of external portal development initiatives including websites. 

                                                                                           
Challenge
When the relationship between PSI Group and the client began, the company was in desperate need of qualified, high level Java Consultants to work within the external portal development group. The client was very understaffed from a development perspective and had problems in the past finding qualified IT consultants to meet their technical skills requirements.  The client was required to nearly double in size and grow to approximately 40 developers in a short period of time in order to stay on schedule for upcoming application release deadlines.

Approach
PSI Group was able to fill 90% of the positions with qualified consultants, many of whom eventually went on to fill key roles within the company.  In addition, PSI Group's account management had assumed part-time responsibilities on site at the company in order to manage the day to day staffing  with its consultants. This has proven to be an enormous asset to the IT department.  PSI Group's account management team is actively involved in staff meetings, performance reviews, and other team building events.

PSI Group has developed a five-year relationship with this client and has received numerous reference letters commending a job well done. During that time, PSI Group has been providing significant consulting assistance in many technologies, and in some departments on an exclusive basis.
